DE Bowers Also to Visit

According to a report on ESPN.com, Clemson defensive end Da'Quan Bowers will meet with seven teams that hold the top eight picks in next month's entry draft. The Bills are one of those teams. The only team among the top eight not to set up a visit with Bowers was the San Franciscio 49ers, who pick seventh.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Bills used the third overall selection on Bowers, especially if Alabama's Marcell Dareus is off the board. After leading the nation in sacks with 15.5, Bowers had arthroscopic surgery on his knee in January to repair a torn meniscus. Recovery time and rehab did not allow the junior to work out at the scouting combine last month. His pro day is currently set for April 1st. If the Bills feel that Bowers has fully recovered from his knee injury, he could very well be wearing a Bills uniform when football resumes.
